FEW Straight Rye Whiskey

FEW Straight Rye is made by FEW Spirits, a craft distillery in Chicago, Illinois, which grows and controls its grain-to-glass process. The mash bill is 70% rye, 20% corn and 10% malted barley, and the whiskey is aged in new, heavily charred American oak. The nose is spicy, with rye, black pepper, cinnamon, clove and mint, plus cherry, plum, caramel and toasted oak. The palate is lively and slightly oily, with rye, spice, fruit, caramel and oak. The finish is long and warming, with spice, oak and black pepper.
