Fib Whisky Duich (Tamdhu) 9 Year Old Ex-Madeira (70cl, 59%)

This is a nine-year-old Speyside single malt distilled at Tamdhu and bottled by Fib Whisky under the Duich name. It was distilled on 7 March 2016 and matured first in a bourbon barrel, then re-racked into a first fill Madeira barrique for six months. It was bottled on 7 October 2025 at a cask strength of 59%, with natural colour and without chill filtration. The outturn was 113 bottles, each of 70cl. The nose is full of sweet, stewed fruit. The palate is rich, with caramel-glazed plums, and the finish carries generous fruit that fades into spice.
