Pictish Beastie Volume III is an 11-year-old blended Scotch from Fib Whisky, made from 60% Mannochmore single malt and 40% Cameronbridge single grain. Two casks were used, one PX sherry and one Fino sherry. It is bottled at a cask strength of 58% in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and without chill filtration, and 575 bottles were filled.
The nose recalls a French patisserie, with pecan pies and custard-filled fudge doughnuts. The palate is balanced and smooth for its strength, with orchard fruits, toffee and milk chocolate. The finish is chocolate and caramel.
