A seven-year-old single cask malt distilled at Highland Park on Orkney and released by Fib Whisky as Whitlaw. It was distilled on 12 June 2017 and bottled on 8 April 2025 at a cask strength of 61%, with natural colour and no chill filtration. An Oloroso hogshead was finished in an unsulphured Mourvèdre barrique from Coume Del Mas Winery, and 95 bottles were filled in 70cl size.
The label shows the Ring of Brodgar and was designed by Orla Stevens.
Fresh redcurrants and brambles sit at the top of the nose, with darker sherried tones beneath. The palate is bright and fruity before the full force of the spirit arrives. The finish is full, spicy and juicy, with distinct tannin lasting long.
