Fielden Harvest 2019 Rye Whisky is an English whisky made from rye, wheat and barley grown by regenerative methods without chemicals. It was distilled in two stages.
The 2019 harvest followed a dry spring and a mild summer, which gave delicate, bright grain. Maturation took place in a mix of American oak casks, Sauternes barriques and Ramandolo casks.
The nose brings roses, fresh herbs, ginger, apricot and a touch of butter. On the palate come cooling herbs, delicate summer fruit, brioche, cream and apple crumble, followed by a finish of white pepper and fresh thyme.
