Filey Bay – STR Finish Yorkshire Single Malt Whisky (70cl)

Filey Bay STR Finish is a Yorkshire single malt whisky, bottled in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2016 from barley grown and made in the 'field to bottle' manner. The whisky spent years maturing in bourbon casks before a finish in red wine barriques from Rioja in Spain. The barriques were shaved, toasted and re-charred beforehand. It is described as light, floral and fruity, with summer berries, vanilla, orange chocolate and toasted oak. Fresh apple and honey show on the nose, with rose, blue fruit and cereal on the palate.
