Filey Bay STR Red Wine Cask is a Yorkshire whisky bottled at 47.3% ABV. It is made in a solera-style approach from 100% homegrown, regeneratively farmed barley, and matured in ex-red wine casks that have been shaved, toasted and re-charred.
Each bottling is selected from the warehouse to keep a consistent flavour profile. The whisky is soft and malty, with notes of biscuit, marzipan, boiled sweets and red fruits.
