Fincasa De La Tierra Rye Whiskey Rum Barrel Finish (75cl, 50%)

Fincasa De La Tierra is a small-batch American rye whiskey from Fincasa Whiskey, a brand founded in 2019 by Michael Antonio Martinez to celebrate Puerto Rican and Latino heritage. It comes in a 75cl bottle at 50% ABV, or 100 proof. The rye was distilled by MGP in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, then finished for several months to over a year in used rum barrels from Caribbean regions such as Barbados and Puerto Rico. Each numbered batch has its own barrel origin and finishing time. On the palate, rye spice meets dried fruit, vanilla, light molasses sweetness and citrus marmalade. The finish is warm and smooth, with a hint of toasted oak.
