Finger Lakes Distilling – McKenzie Bottled in Bond Rye

This is a bottled in bond rye whiskey from Finger Lakes Distilling, which stands in Burdett, New York, overlooking Seneca Lake. It comes from the McKenzie range, the distillery's flagship line, named after the founding McKenzie family. The McKenzie whiskeys are made from grains grown in New York, and are distilled and aged on site. The distillery was founded in 2007 by brothers Brian and Thomas McKenzie and began production in 2008. It was built in the style of a traditional Scottish distillery.
