Finlaggan Eilean Mor is a peated Islay single malt in a 70cl boxed bottle. The name refers to one of the small islands in the loch near the Islay coast. The nose opens with smoke and ash, iodine and seaweed, followed by a touch of sweetness in vanilla and malt. The palate is powerful, with clear peat alongside dried fruit, black pepper and dark chocolate. The finish is long and warm, leaving leather and spice.
