Finlaggan Red Wine Cask Matured is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, matured in red wine casks. The colour is amber with ruby highlights.
The nose combines Islay peat with red fruit, chocolate, cinnamon and vanilla. On the palate, peat smoke is balanced by caramel, honey and spice, with a red wine aftertaste adding gentle acidity. The finish is long and warm, with smoky and winey flavours in balance.
