Finlaggan The Original Peaty is an Islay single malt from The Vintage Malt Whisky Company, in a 70cl bottle. It is matured on the island itself and is described as taking on the strong earthy scents and the coastal character of Islay.
In the glass it is pale straw with lemon-yellow glints. The nose is full and sharp with peat, along with toasted and smoky notes and a hint of sea salt.
The palate is robust and full-bodied, filling the mouth with considerable complexity.
