A 50 year old single grain Scotch whisky from Invergordon, selected and bottled by independent bottler Finn Thomson as Single Cask #24. It was bottled at natural cask strength, is non-chill filtered and is of natural colour.
The nose is vanilla custard, coconut, polished oak, honeycomb, tropical fruits, caramelised sugar and soft spices. The palate brings crème brûlée, butterscotch, dried apricots, toasted almonds, vanilla pods, gentle cinnamon and mature oak. The finish is very long, with vanilla, coconut, soft oak spice, caramel and delicate dried fruits.
