This Sangiovese Fiorone from Fiorentini is a Romagna Castrocaro DOC red wine. It has a medium ruby colour with violet reflections. The nose shows cherry, raspberry, light spice and delicate vegetal notes reminiscent of dry grass. The palate is medium-bodied with moderate tannins, lively acidity and red fruit flavours, finishing with good persistence. It suits everyday drinking with pasta in sauce, white meats and lightly aged cured meats. Serve at around 16-18 °C, decanting only if desired.
