Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey (75cl, 33%)

Fireball is a cinnamon-flavoured whiskey built on a Canadian whisky base, in a 75cl bottle at 33% ABV. The base is a blend of aged Canadian rye and corn whiskies matured in oak, flavoured with natural cassia bark oil rather than synthetic cinnamon. The formula was developed by Seagram in Canada in the mid-1980s. The nose is sweet cinnamon, like cinnamon candy, with warm baking spice. The palate is syrupy, with brown sugar, cinnamon bark and a little vanilla. The finish tapers slowly, with a cool, menthol-like edge and lingering warmth.
