A single cask, single malt Highland whisky from Tullibardine, bottled by The Firkin Whisky Company under whisky maker Mike Collings. The 2012 vintage was matured in a first fill bourbon barrel, then moved into custom double wood casks seasoned with Oloroso and Amontillado sherries in equal parts. The outturn was 306 bottles at 48.9%, with natural colour and no chill filtration.
The nose is soft peach skins, hazelnuts and vanilla fudge. The palate brings fruit and nut milk chocolate, raisins, figs and plums, with a touch of spice. The finish is medium to long, with the chocolate continuing and the spice lingering.
