This single cask Teaninich was distilled in 2010 and bottled by The Firkin Whisky Company as a Firkin Rare release. It started in an ex-bourbon cask, then received a second maturation in a double-oak cask made by hand from ex-bourbon staves and virgin French oak, and soaked with Tawny Port. It is bottled at 48.9%, with natural colour and without chill filtration. The notes describe fresh apples and crisp malt, with layers of fruit and berries, cereal oak and a hint of bitter-sweet fruit.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
