Flatnose Blended Scotch Whisky

Flatnose is a blended Scotch whisky named after Ketill Flatnose, a Viking king who ruled the Isles of Scotland in the late 9th century and commanded the rugged western seaboard. His line lived on through the Celtic lords of the Isles, who later ruled from a stronghold on Islay. The label belongs to Donald MacKenzie and Mackay Smith, known as the Islay Boys, who were both born and raised on the island and are known for their independent bottlings. They have since partnered with Ian Macleod Distillers to build Laggan Bay, planned as Islay's 12th distillery.
