A Vintage Port from Fonseca, made mainly from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz from the Douro region of Portugal. Ageing takes place exclusively in bottle, preserving the qualities of an exceptional vintage. The nose shows intense ripe red fruit, cherry, blackberry and faded rose, with delicate spicy and sweet tobacco notes. On the palate it is vigorous and persistent, with a long, enveloping finish. It suits meditation, dark chocolate desserts, aged cheeses or nuts.
