A Barolo from Fontanafredda, made from Nebbiolo in the Langhe hills of Piedmont. The winery has an enological tradition rooted since the nineteenth century. This Barolo is aged for a prolonged period in large wooden casks, giving a complex and refined aromatic profile of faded roses, cherry, liquorice and sweet spice notes. On the palate it reveals structure and elegant tannins, with an enveloping persistence. It suits robust dishes such as braised meats, game and aged cheeses.
