A Barolo from Livia Fontana, showing Nebbiolo with grace and measure. The nose opens on rose petals and ripe cherry, then sweet spice, a light earthy note and a balsamic hint. On the palate it has solid structure, present but well-integrated tannins, vibrant acidity and a medium-full body, with a finish of dried red fruit and light mineral notes. It suits structured meat dishes, braises and aged cheeses, and benefits from decanting or bottle age.
