A New York bourbon from Alex Clark Spirits, aged on the Brooklyn waterfront in heavily charred new American white oak. It is double-barrelled, which adds extra oak influence and depth to a corn-forward bourbon, and it is non-chill filtered.
The name comes from August 1775, when Alexander Hamilton's Hearts of Oak militia raided lower Manhattan and seized British cannons to form America's first artillery company.
The flavour is described as rich, full and robust.
