Found North 15 Year Old Cask Strength 'Goldfinch First Flight' (75cl)

Goldfinch First Flight is a 15 year old Canadian whisky from Found North, bottled at cask strength in a 75cl bottle. Its finishing cask gives a darker, richer character than its makers expected. The middle of the palate brightens with white fruit and creamy vanilla before the whisky returns to a heavier, richer close. The notes begin sticky-sweet, with a warm, crackling grip and dense red orchard fruit. White fruit, a hint of citrus, baking spice and floral tones follow. The finish brings wood phenols, a custard texture and caramelised sugar, and red fruit returns afterwards with a cinnamon echo.
