Four Roses – 125th Anniversary 2013 Limited Edition Small Batch (75cl, 51.6%)

Four Roses 125th Anniversary Limited Edition Small Batch is a Kentucky straight bourbon, released in September 2013 to mark 125 years since the Four Roses name was registered in 1888. Master Distiller Jim Rutledge blended three of the distillery's recipes, aged between 13 and 18 years: an 18-year-old OBSV with 13-year-old OBSK and OESK. It was bottled at 51.6% ABV, and about 4,500 bottles were produced. The notes describe creamy vanilla, allspice and apricot on the nose, with baked brown sugar, dark cherry, milk chocolate and cinnamon on the palate. The finish is long, with vanilla and toasted oak spice.
