Four Roses – 6 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Distilled 1966, Bottled 1972 (75cl, 43%)

This is Four Roses Kentucky Straight Bourbon, aged six years. It was distilled in 1966, bottled in 1972 at 43% and comes in a 75cl bottle. During the 1960s Seagram preferred to promote its Seven Crown brand in the United States, so Four Roses straight bourbon was limited to the export market. American drinkers were given a blended light whiskey instead, until Kirin acquired the brand in 2002 and brought the straight bourbon back to its home market. The Four Roses name was trademarked in 1888 by the Paul Jones company.
