A Kentucky straight bourbon from Four Roses, aged 6 years. It was distilled in 1970 and bottled in 1976 at 43% ABV, in a 75cl bottle.
The Four Roses name was trademarked in 1888 by the Paul Jones company. The distillery in Lawrenceburg was built in 1910 and is on the National Register of Historic Buildings for its Spanish mission style architecture.
In the 1960s, Seagram, then the owner, kept Four Roses as a straight bourbon for the export market only.
