Four Roses – Bourbon 100 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

Four Roses Bourbon 100 Proof is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 50% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is the newest expression in the permanent Four Roses range and keeps the Yellow Label design, with a 100 PROOF band at the neck. It is a blend of all ten Four Roses recipes, which come from two mash bills, one with 35% rye and one with 20% rye, and five yeast strains. Master Distiller Brent Elliott selects the combination. The distillery, now in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, traces the brand name to a trademark registered by Paul Jones Jr. in 1888. The house character is described as mellow spice and ripe fruit.
