Four Roses – Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 1990s (1.5L, 40%)

This is a 1990s bottling of Four Roses Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, at 40% in a large 150cl bottle. The Four Roses distillery in Lawrenceburg was built in 1910 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings for its Spanish mission style architecture. At the time of this bottling, Seagram preferred to promote its Seven Crown brand in the United States, so Four Roses straight bourbon was limited to the export market. Kirin acquired the brand in 2002 and reintroduced the bourbon to its home market.
