Four Roses Kentucky Straight Bourbon is distilled in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, and bottled at 40% ABV. The distillery combines two mash bills with five yeast strains to make ten bourbon recipes, then selects and blends them to keep a consistent house style. The bourbon is aged for a minimum of five to six years in new charred American oak barrels. The nose is soft, with pear, honey and light floral notes over a little spice and oak. On the palate come ripe apple, vanilla, caramel and gentle rye spice, with a creamy texture. The finish is clean, mellow and slightly sweet, with lingering fruit and toffee.
