Four Roses – Limited Edition Small Batch 2015 (75cl)

The 2015 Limited Edition Small Batch from Four Roses of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at barrel strength and non-chill filtered. Each year the Master Distiller chooses a combination of recipes and ages from the distillery's ten-recipe system, which crosses two mashbills with five yeast strains, and the combination is published with the release. The 2015 edition falls in the final years of Jim Rutledge's time as Master Distiller. In the tasting notes, the nose combines fruit, spice, vanilla and oak. The palate is full-bodied, with the character of each recipe well integrated, and the finish is long and evolving. The colour is a rich amber.
