Four Roses – Limited Edition Small Batch 2020 (75cl)

This is the 2020 Limited Edition Small Batch from Four Roses, a Kentucky straight bourbon from the distillery at Lawrenceburg. It is bottled at barrel strength and is non-chill filtered. The bourbon draws on all ten of the distillery's recipes, which come from two mashbills, one high in rye at 35% and one lower at 20%, combined with five yeast strains. The Master Distiller chose each barrel personally. The tasting notes describe apple, orange peel, honey and vanilla on the nose, apricot, pear and hints of red berries on the palate, and a finish of rye spice, light oak and fresh fruit.
