Four Roses – Limited Edition Small Batch 2021 (75cl, 57.1%)

This is the 2021 Limited Edition Small Batch from Four Roses, a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at barrel strength, 57.1% ABV, and non-chill filtered, in a 75cl bottle. It combines four of the distillery's recipes: a 16 year old OBSV, a 14 year old OBSQ, a 12 year old OESK and a 16 year old OESV. The first two use a high-rye mashbill and the other two a low-rye one. The nose shows fruit, spice, vanilla and oak. The palate is rich and layered, and the finish is long and evolving, with spice, fruit and oak.
