This is a 14-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from Four Roses, released as the Mother's Day 2026 Limited Edition. It is made to a single recipe, OBSQ, which combines 60% corn, 35% rye and 5% malted barley with the Q yeast strain, known for its floral character.
It was matured at the distillery's single-story rickhouses outside Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
The nose is honeysuckle and orange blossom over baked apple, caramelised brown sugar and toasted rye bread. Clove, black pepper, dark cherry and vanilla custard follow on the palate, and the long finish brings rye spice, dried apricot and a touch of leather.
