Four Roses – OBSF Single Barrel Bourbon (50%)

This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Four Roses, bottled from a single barrel at 50% (100 proof). It is made to the OBSF recipe, one of the distillery's ten recipes, which has a higher rye content and a delicate yeast strain. The bottle comes from barrel 46-3A and is signed by Master Distiller Brent Elliott. In the glass it is described as showing baking spice, mellow oak, tea leaves and a touch of caramel, followed by a warm finish.
