Four Roses OBSK Single Barrel is a Kentucky bourbon bottled at 100 proof (50%). This private barrel release comes from Warehouse QS, barrel number 51-5C.
OBSK is one of the ten recipes Four Roses makes from two mash bills and five yeast strains. Here the mash bill is 60% corn, 35% rye and 5% malted barley, paired with the K yeast strain, which gives a spiced character.
In the glass it is described as rye spice layered with allspice, cocoa and bright oak, with vanilla and a soft sweetness rounding out the palate.
