Four Roses – OBSK Single Barrel Bourbon (75cl)

Four Roses OBSK is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle. It is bottled at barrel strength and non-chill filtered, and each bottle comes from one barrel. The OBSK code marks the recipe: a mashbill of 60% corn, 35% rye and 5% malted barley, paired with the "K" yeast strain, which is associated with a spicy character. It is made at the Four Roses distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. The nose is black pepper, rye spice, leather, cocoa and toasted oak. The palate brings cinnamon, nutmeg, dark chocolate, roasted nuts and dried herbs, and the finish is long and warming, with dry spice and earthy rye.
