Four Roses Single Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof). Each bottle comes from one individually selected barrel, chosen by the master distiller, and the whiskey is aged for seven to nine years in new charred American oak.
It is made to the OBSV recipe: a mash bill of 60% corn, 35% rye and 5% malted barley, fermented with the distillery's own yeast strain. It won a Gold Medal at the 2024 World Whiskies Awards.
The nose brings ripe plum and cherry with caramel, vanilla, cocoa and maple syrup. On the palate it is full-bodied, with honey, peaches and brown sugar, and the finish is long and smooth.
