This is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Four Roses Distillery in Lawrenceburg, made to the OBSV recipe and bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV). The recipe pairs a mash bill of 60% corn, 35% rye and 5% malted barley with two of the distillery's yeast strains. The bourbon is matured in new charred American oak and bottled from a single barrel, unblended. It is described as balancing vibrant fruit, gentle spice and sturdy oak, with a seamless texture and a polished finish. The nose is open and inviting.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
