Four Roses – Single Barrel Recipe OESK Bourbon (75cl, 50%)

This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Four Roses, bottled at 50% ABV in a 75cl bottle from a single barrel of recipe OESK. The whiskey is aged for seven to nine years. OESK combines Mash Bill E, made from 75% corn, 20% rye and 5% malted barley, with yeast strain K, which brings a slight spice. It was released in the Single Barrel Collection, which marks 20 years of the flagship Single Barrel, and was bottled at 100 proof by Master Distiller Brent Elliott. The distillery describes it as full-bodied, with baking spices, mellow oak, earthy tea leaves and rich caramel.
