This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Four Roses, made in Lawrenceburg and bottled at 45% ABV (90 proof). Master distiller Brent Elliott selects four of the distillery's ten bourbon recipes for the blend. The whiskeys are typically aged for 6 to 7 years in new charred American oak barrels. The nose has ripe berries, honey and vanilla with a little baking spice and oak. The palate is creamy, with caramel, plum, cinnamon and toasted oak, and the finish is long, warm and softly spiced, with lingering fruit and toffee.
