This is the eighteenth release of Foursquare's Exceptional Cask Selection, distilled in 2010 and released in 2021. It is a Fine Barbados Single Blended rum aged for 11 years in bourbon and madeira casks.
Foursquare produces Single Blended rum, combining pot and column distillate before and after barrelling. The distillery was opened in 1995 in Saint Philip parish, converting an abandoned sugar factory.
The Exceptional Cask Selection, introduced in 2008, represents the finest rum the distillery can produce, with releases aged to either side of a decade in cask.
