Fox & Oden Double Oaked is a straight bourbon blended from bourbons aged between 8 and 15 years. The blend draws on two mashbills, one with 21% rye and one with 36% rye.
The nose is of cocoa, caramel and leather. On the palate it moves to caramel, chocolate, pipe tobacco and baking spices, with the flavours described as intense.
