This is a VSOP Cognac from Maison Peyrot, in a 70cl bottle. VSOP stands for Very Superior Old Pale, and this one has been aged for at least 12 years. It was the first Cognac the house produced.
The house takes close care at every step, from the vineyard through to ageing in cask. It is a Cognac to drink slowly.
The colour is amber gold. The nose is gentle, with notes of vanilla. The palate is round and soft, smooth and refined.
