Frangelico (70cl)

Frangelico is an Italian hazelnut liqueur made from locally grown Piedmontese hazelnuts. The hazelnuts are roasted and infused in an alcohol solution, with cocoa and vanilla extracts plus coffee extract and other ingredients added for complexity. It has a light amber colour, an intensely hazelnut aroma with hints of chocolate and vanilla, and a sweet but balanced palate with a pleasantly long finish recalling toasted hazelnuts. It can be sipped neat, over ice, or used in cocktails such as Frangelico on the Rocks, Frangelico and Soda and the Nutty Irishman, and in sweet recipes such as cakes and creams.
