Frank August 7 Year Single Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon, aged for seven years and bottled at cask strength from hand-selected single barrels. It is a limited single barrel release. Each barrel has its own flavour profile, so strength varies; this bottle is at 61.9% (123.8 proof). In the glass it is a deep auburn. The nose is typically described as warm baking spice, vanilla, cacao and oak-driven fruit. The palate is full-bodied, with cinnamon, caramel, dark chocolate and vanilla over bold oak, and the finish is long and warm with spice, cocoa and black cherry.
