Frank August Case Study 07 French Connection Bourbon Whiskey (53.7%)

Frank August Case Study 07: French Connection is a cask-finished bourbon bottled at 53.7% ABV. It is a limited release from the Case Study series, in which Frank August explores different ageing and finishing techniques. The French Connection name points to French cask influence on a traditional bourbon character. The nose is rich caramel, toasted oak, dried fruit and subtle spice. On the palate there is dark chocolate, vanilla, baking spice and hints of orchard fruit and oak tannin. The finish is long and warm, with lingering sweetness and spice.
