Frank August Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

Frank August Small Batch is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 100 proof, or 50% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. The brand was founded in 2022 by Johnathan Crocker and does not distil its own spirit. Each batch is built from 10 to 15 hand-selected barrels of Kentucky straight bourbon from undisclosed distilleries, assembled and blended in Bardstown. On the nose it shows apple tart, custard and dried apricot. The palate brings buckwheat honey, vanilla and warm spice, and the finish is leather and oak.
