Frank August Small Batch is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof). The brand was founded in 2022 by Johnathan Crocker and is a non-distilling producer, blending bourbon sourced from undisclosed Kentucky distilleries in Bardstown. Each batch is assembled from 10 to 15 hand-selected barrels, matured in new charred American white oak. In September 2025 it scored 98 points and a Gold Outstanding Medal at the International Wine and Spirit Competition, where it was named World's Best Bourbon. It comes in the brand's minimalist decanter-style bottle, which has a removable back label.
