A Barbera d'Alba DOC from Fratelli Alessandria. It is made from a manual harvest in October, with fermentation and maceration in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Maturation lasts 5-7 months in steel or cement, followed by at least 1-2 months in bottle. The wine shows an intense ruby red colour, with red and black fruit and a salty note that adds depth and complexity. Lively acidity is balanced by sweet fruit. It suits convivial meals with meat and cheese.
