Fratelli Alessandria Barolo Verduno DOCG 2022

A Barolo from Verduno, produced by Fratelli Alessandria. It has a refined and immediate profile, with rose petals, ripe cherry and light spicy notes on the nose, integrated with a subtle balsamic component. On the palate it balances freshness and structure, with lively but polished tannins, supporting acidity and a sense of softness. It shows good depth, with fruity returns and a light earthy note on the finish, ending savoury with sweet spice. It can be enjoyed now with flavourful meat dishes, mushrooms or aged cheeses, and has the structure to develop in bottle over the coming years.
